Wooden Textile by Elisa Strozyk

Created by Elisa Strozyk, this wood textiles is a way or a method to convert the wood to fabrics or flexible sheet.  The designer used thin pieces of wood cut in triangles to allow the 3-dimensional movement of the fabric.  These tiles then are glued to fabric surface to form the wooden fabric.  So far the applications of this new design were in the field of upholstery such as rugs, bed sheets, lambs, table covers and accessories.
